Candyland Sign

I made this adorable sign to point party-goers to the games and “lands” we will have at our candyland birthday party!

Materials:

  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Chalk paint or spray paint
  • Chalk markers
  • Red tape
  • Wood for the the pole and stand (you can use pvc pipe).
  • Hot gule gun

First you will need to get your pole or stand ready. Wrap it with red tape to “candycane” it.

Then cut your cardboard into arrows. I used one as a template so they would all be the same. Next, paint them with chalkboard paint ( I found that the spray paint was cheaper and easier).  Finally, use your chalk markers to illustrate the arrows according to the different party areas that are featured.

All that is left is to glue the arrows to the post and you are finished! The beauty of chalk is you can wet it and wipe it if you mess up! This project took a few days to complete and was about $20.  It should be a cute feature for the entrance to our candyland party!
